Licensed Vocational Nurse – Brenham, TX – $40.10/hr

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in a state hospital located in Brenham, TX. We are looking for strong nurses that are fast learners and able to adapt quickly to changes as they will be floating to different units on campus.

Pay Rate: $40.10/hr

Location: Brenham, TX

Schedule

• 1:45p-10:15p or 9:45p-6:15a
• 40-hours/week
• Term of assignment 6 months
• Working 8-hour shifts and 3 weekends out of the month

Job Duties

• Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
• Perform computer data entry – Receive full training
• Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, WCY Policy and Directives and Standards, Rules and Directives.

Requirements

• Must possess valid LVN license
• Must comply with facility immunization requirements
• Must submit required drug test
• Must submit required fingerprinting
• Must complete facility required training
